Tell Atlantic premiers: Gas infrastructure will only make us poorer
Let’s build the energy system that will lower our bills, create good jobs and help our communities.
It’s time for Atlantic Canada to have energy by us, for us.
Building more gas infrastructure only helps corporate executives, not our communities. People in Atlantic Canada need a clear energy path that protects our health, our climate, and our wallets — not one that locks us into more expensive and polluting gas projects.
Help decision-makers see the big picture: fracking and new East Coast gas and diesel power plants will not build the kind of economy we want, and will be of no use to our communities in the long-term.
Now is the time to build a modern, forward-looking energy system.
